The Human Face

In this lesson I had to practice the Angel of the Madonna of the Rocks. I had to do this exercise over and over, recommended up to a dozen times. I was instructed to trace, which I did the first time,  but eventually after developing a dependable stroke I was able to do it off the page. Ive learned I have a serious issue with the mouth, but I'll keep working on it.
When I completed this lesson I began working on a second face. This one was a little less fine art than the first. Okay, none of what I've been working on has been fine art, but you know what I mean. I worked on the oval shape of the head, the eyes, the nose, the mouth, lips, and hair. Step by step learning a little bit more of the deliberate construction of a face. I felt this one was more informative than the Madonna. Let's face it, being taught DaVinci to start was a bit above my level.
I'm going to wrap this up and include my eye and the human hand. I kind of put the last two lessons in here together but I just wanted to show every step taken in this lesson plan. I will post again on this but for now... IM DONE! I did Mark Kistler You Can Draw in 30 Days. My confidence rose and I am excited about developing my skills in the days ahead. Thanks for visiting.
