Maurice Sendak Draws Leo Tolstoy

Looking for quality tid bits?
In 1963 Maurice Sendak's (most famous for Where the Wild Things Are) drawings of Nikolenka's Childhood by Leo Tolstoy, were published. Originally published in 1852- under the simple title Childhood- the story tells the autobiographical story of the life and times of a Tolstoy as a boy, part 1 of the author's trilogy.
